Summer Camps

Summer camps are offered on a weekly basis Monday-Friday 8am-12pm or 8am-4pm beginning at the end of June going through August (every week during this time). All camps are run by Kim and assisted by qualified staff.

Our camp philosophy is “learning by doing.” The campers are encouraged to do their very best while feeling comfortable in a safe and non-competitive environment.

Youth will learn the basics of horse care including how to groom, feed, lead and manage on foot as well as how to ride and show and apply basic horse first aid. Students will develop responsibility, time management and cooperation skills and confidence all while having fun with horses!

Campers have the opportunity to participate in other activities that are offered throughout the summer including horse lectures and demonstrations, special clinics, games on horseback, crafts, weekend shows, stable management, 4th of July parade, yoga, and drill team.

Older experienced children may learn to assist in training ponies, we also have a mini horse that all children enjoy leading around.

Lessons

Private and group lessons are taught daily here at the Livery. The lessons are for beginner through advanced riders. Our focus is on English riding as well as learning to jump. Our many school horses provide a variety of skill levels for children to safely learn on.

Our lessons are held in a safely fenced, large sand ring. Children learn basic grooming and tacking as part of their lesson. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Our students are welcome to participate on our horses during horse shows if they wish.
